Evan Storm is a photographer based in New York, working both locally and abroad. He doesn’t just capture images—he tells stories through the interplay of light and body. Inspired by Helmut Newton, he found his voice in monochrome, while Wong Kar-wai’s cinematic influence taught him that emotion surpasses action.
His photography is a balance of masculine and feminine energy, while his painting unleashes vibrant dialogues of color. Storm has collaborated with independent artists, fashion brands, and personal clients who sought not just a picture, but his unique vision. In each shoot, he seeks that pivotal moment when the quiet of form speaks louder than words.
Every project begins with the visual direction. Depending on the session, that can include references, styling notes, image goals, and intended use. From there, the shoot is built to stay focused and efficient while giving space for expression and variation.
